Quality Assurance Agency
Established in 1997, the Agency provides an integrated quality assurance service for Higher Education institutions, bringing together the functions of the former Higher Education Quality Council (HEQC) and the quality assessment functions of the Higher Education Funding Councils for England and Wales (HEFCE and HEFCW).
